How do I get rid of stink bugs and prevent them from coming back?

    They are a force of nature that will not ever totally go away. All you can do is get rid of the ones you see.

    ah-ha-ha-ha-ha! You would be an millionaire if you had the answer to this one. They can squeeze into space you would never believe since their bodies are basically flat. They can get into the felt/brush type window sealant, in chimneys in cracks in doors. If you have the time and inclination see where they may be getting inside. They leave an odor that others will follow. Look at windows, doors and chimneys. Caulk, all tiny openings from the outside. Put screening on chimney tops that are not in use with plastic screening or metal screening in the tiny mesh if you do use. Good luck. The easiest way to kill them with out the stink is to knock into a bottle of dish soap and water. It does not matter WHAT kind a people think. Dish soap breaks the surface tension of the water so they will sink not float. Give a quick shake and they will drown.
