Did you see this coffee table I recently shared here on Hometalk? It was such a hit I decided to share the matching end tables too.
Dark stained wood top and warm white bases are a huge hit where I live, do you like this look?

Here is the set of 3 in there before state when I purchased them. I love well built solid wood pieces from the past. Furniture is not made like this much anymore so when I find them I buy them quickly.
They do however usually need updating after years of wear and tear and wet cups left on them .
I love to keep the tops wood so spend hours stripping and sanding them back to the bare wood. I chose to use antique walnut stain on these tops. It is a beautiful color. They then get 4 coats of clear poly to protect all the hard work.

Details can be found on the original blog tutorial
The base was painted in a warm white. This classic color matches so many homes decor as it blends seamlessly.
The warm white paint is lightly distressed and dark waxed to keep the aged feeling but give a new brighter updated farmhouse feel.

These fun double decker end tables are unique.
The other larger end table with full shelf was done in the exact same way for a lovely matching set.

Moving into a rental that was built in the 80's which has a mirror wall in the dining room. Floor to ceiling mirrors! I figure I can hide them to match my mid-century/boho type décor. Any ideas?
