How do I keep rabbits away?

The rabbits have eaten most of the hostas that I have planted and the plants that come up get eaten as well. They eat almost everything!!

Are you sure it's rabbits and not deer? Deer love hostas as well. You can buy a spray to keep deer or rabbits away at Home Depot or Lowes. I'm sure there are some home remedies, but they've never worked for us.

The commercial products to keep away deer and rabbits use an emulsion of eggs, dish soap, and water. Pretty easy to mix yourself and add to a spray bottle.

I used grated Irish Spring soap and it seemed to work

Believe it or not when I was helping out a friend with the community flower gardens we went through tons of rabbit and deer repellent. Someone told us to go to the dollar store and buy the perfume and spray the plants. Don’t soak them just a few sprits. It works!

    I will try that. Thanks!
