How to paint appliances?

I am in the process of having my kitchen remodeled but I do not need new appliances. However, I'm wondering if the is an appliance paint that would give a professional look of stainless steel to the dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. Also, I have an extra refrigerator that is steel but the freezer door is dented from a move. We've tried to pull it out with no luck. Any suggestions?

Some people have used steel looking contact paper. Why does everyone want stainless steel? I prefer my white appliances. To me steel is dark and depressing. Of course it is better than green ones they use to make. As for the dent, could you paint it into a scene. Or use a stencil to make it seem like a feature.

On eBay they sell large sticker based for appliances to change look there stainless steel and they look great try one to see
My friend just had her appliances painted by a car painting company. They look absolutely brand new. I don't know how much it costs, but the results are amazing.
