How to make a Homemade Birdbath?

Does anyone have a DIY Bird Bath that would be simple and inexpensive to make for my small apartment patio?

Take a flower vase from the dollar store turn it upside down and glue a reg bowl on top of it
dollar store - tall glass vase, bowl or curved plate. Glue plate to upturned vase. If you use a bowl, fill with glass beads to make it more shallow. Terracotta pot, topped with terracotta shallow plate. Cottage cheese container topped with plastic lid from takeout box (Bertucci's uses them) Spray paint bottom to make it pretty. You will need to cover the bottom and weight it so it does not fall over.
Try using a terracotta dish that normally sits under a plant pot. You could attach it to a wooden or metal base to lift it up to whatever height you need. Change water frequently and keep it clean, but no harsh chemicals.
