Soak in Oxi clean. Than wash in machine with bleach and just a 1/4 cup of soap. Always Rinse with cold water. Lots of time the dingy comes from using too much soap. You can test this by putting a just laundered item like a tee shirt in a sink of warm water and swishing it around. If start to get soap suds you've got old soap left in clothes. Need to wash again with no soap.

I use OxiClean in every load, even darks, to keep the colors truer. Doesn't fade the darks and the whites come out so bright! Getting a front loading washer made a HUGE difference in the cleanliness of all of our clothes as well. Couldn't believe the difference. Hydrogen Peroxide works well on blood, grass and sweat stains, too.

  • Hi Colleen - I love this laundry detergent that we use. It's an all-natural DIY and made with safe ingredients. You can use it on an HE machine too. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
