Take one room at a time, and completely clean starting from top to bottom. It will take about a week to get the inside of your house done, but will look spectacular when finished.
Just start in! When you start you are going to notice all kinds of winter dirt to clean up and that's enough to motivate me. I am amazed at how dirty things can get when I'm not paying attention!
Maybe plan a party and get your home ready for it! There’s a reward for cleaning and a deadline -
both are good motivators! :)
Keep you eye on the prize, visualize what you want the end result to look like.
Break into small tasks that you can complete so that you have a sense of accomplishment instead of failure. Give yourself goals & deadlines.
Make a list and cross items off one at a time. It becomes a more manageable task.
I buy myself a flower or two - once in the vase I have to have someplace to put it so I have to clean of the coffee table - then that looks so nice, I have to tidy up & clean whatever if next to it, etc......
Music! make a great playlist and just dig in!
Put the tv on in the background, or put the radio on! Make a list and go room by room. Set a goal, a room a day or per weekend.
This is a great guide to hep get you started with all-natural spring cleaning. It even includes a free eBook. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
