I actually make and sell these. I use solar fairy lights (the copper wire kind) and metal watering cans with a removable spray nozel. You have to make a few holes in the nozel bitter using a screw driver. I do the one in the middle and four or five evenly spaced a couple of rounds from the center. thread the entire length of lights through the spout starting inside the can. I measure out about 3-3 1/2 feet of lights and fold in half. I do this again for as many strands as I have enlarged holes. Then I fasten them together at the base, where the wire meets the plastic coated wire. Thread each looped section through the holes in the nozel, CAREFULLY, you don't want to break or cut a wire. Push all of the base into the nozel and screw back onto the spout. Hang by the handle. I hang mine on a shepherds hook and attach the solar pad to the hook with zip ties. Make sure the solar pad is on and let charge in the sun during the day. The results are quite pretty. Good luck.
