Hi Judy, I use a steamer, just don't linger too long in one area, you will see how easily it comes off using a plastic scraper in combination with the steam
Ok I am a professional cleaner but don't remove wallpaper and they wanted to know how to do it. I have done steamer and I like homemade stuff and can use equal parts of vinegar and water too and a scraper. Was looking for other ideas. Thank you so much!

I use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and hot water in a spray bottle.

Cheap fabric softener . I imagine if you combined with steamer it would be faster. Score the paper or peel off first layer if vinyl.
