Closet Home Office

We turned an under used closet into a home office/study space with just a few adjustments.
The closet was designed for two rods, we removed the lower one and added boards for a desk top. We used a piece of leftover galvanized metal for the writing surface. Some plastic bins with drawers add extra storage. We left the closet rod intact and used half the closet for the desk. After we finished the project and hung the clothes up, we realized we need to raise the top rod a bit to clear the desktop. I forgot to measure that in the beginning, silly me!
Most of these items (i.e. the calendar and lamp) were repurposed from other parts of the house. The orange clock and school supplies were a found at Walmart.
The top shelves were cleared and some fabric bins were added for more storage.
The orange accessories blend in well with the color scheme of this room, the patterned rug came from Walmart as well. More details on the blog.

I'm new here and as I was browsing by, I came in to see how you accomplished something I've been considering. Thank you for the encouragement and ideas!
