Door Hall Tree With a Bench

Using an old door as my starting point, I created a hall tree with a bench. This project was not that hard, so if you have a door and want to make a hall tree, I say go for it!
Here is the door. It has a window that will be turned into a looking glass with looking glass spray. I removed the hardware.
I found this cabinet at goodwill and had to bring it home with me. I attached legs to it so it would be high enough to sit on.
The cabinet was attached by screwing it to the door from the inside. I painted the whole thing red with black glaze. A cushion seat was added to the top of the bench.
The last step was adding some hooks, knobs, and a plate to cover the door handle hole.
Enjoyed the project?
