How to Make a Pencil Vase
We have a tradition at my house. My girls always take a little gift to their teacher on the first day of school. They are always so proud to walk in with something to give and the teacher always seems to enjoy the gift! A perfect way to start the year off right!
This vase can be made for less than $5 and in less than 5 minutes! That's my kind of craft!

You will need a clear vase (from the dollar store or thrift store) ribbon, strong elastic band (this one is actually a ponytail holder) and pencils.
Slip the band around the vase and add slide the pencils underneath it.
Add a bow to cover the band.
