Is it best to repair a deck or replace it?

I have a deck/porch that has major water and I think termite damage on half of it. Is it possible to repair it or would it be best to take the whole thing down and start over?

In order to make that determination, get at least estimates for repair. Then consider the cost. Decks are expensive. Here is how to hire a contractor.

I would recommend totally replacing it as termite damage is usually worse than you can originally see. Burn the wood or haul it off so you do not get re-infested.
replacing it because if you do half now in repairs and need to do the other half later on, it is like doing it twice
If you have termite damage it may not show up on the other half yet but be starting on the inside this is also unsafe for your deck with rotting wood from water and termite damage

You may need to have treatment for termites as I assume it is connected to the house. Address the moisture issues
