How would you paint this mini barn?

This is a pic of a gambrel style mini-barn that is similar to what I have in my backyard. Currently mine is completely painted tan and is boring to me. I'd like to paint it so that the trim details have some contrast against the rest of it. What color schemes have you tried or that you think could look good? The mini barn is tucked in some trees in the corner of our lot in the suburbs. I was thinking about a moss green with the trim detailed in burgundy.

I'd do it to match the colors of your house. Whatever your house color is, the base - with the shutter color as the trim where the pic is white. If brick house, then the colors you want sound pretty. It's a matter of preference, and if you are gonna plant anything around it, what would make the plantings pop should be considered too.

I would put a copper or aluminum roof over the existing one and paint it red or burt orange

Considering that this is a working barn and nestled under trees, the moss green might be the best choice. However, if you plan to keep it washed down from scrunge that gets on things outside, a seafoam with white trim would be very pretty. The best things to do is coordinate it with your house colors.

Make sure you use the right paint.. Acrylic paint... and you can use a roller or spray paint... Just be careful you don't get paint on the drip edge or on the shingles.. The metal trip on the corners can be painted or the local shed place can sell you the metal trim

I actually just did this : > ) I painted it Cherokee red with white trim to match the accent color I used on my house doors. I love it!!
