What encourages Iris blooms?

Lot of green leaves but wish more flowers.

Iris' do not like to be planted deep. Some of mine have the tops of the bulbs showing at dirt level. Maybe you have them planted to deep? They also need to be divided if your bulbs are overcrowded. Divide in the Fall.
