Small Bathroom to Elegant Glamour Bath

This small bath in an older ranch-stye home went from ho-hum to glam right before our eyes! A makeover that made the owner very happy.
The owner's hall bathroom is also her guest bath, so we wanted to make it a show-stopper!
This is how it looked before! The wallpaper was removed, the faux marble taken down and replaced with sheet rock. The contractor took out the soffit over the shower in order to open the space up all the way to the ceiling. The new shower is tile.
And this is after! The new chandelier makes the whole room sparkle!
BEFORE: The old mirror had been hung too high because of the poured marble on the walls…
The new mirror accents the space so much better… it is a vertical mirror rather than horizontal, as before. With the addition of the sconces, which are very elegant, you still have light directed where you need it: onto you!
The new vanity is a mirrored chest that was retrofitted for plumbing. The custom granite top is set atop the chest, with an undermount sink.
The room got a new coat of paint: Sandy Hook Gray from Benjamin Moore.
Her new shower curtain! Swoon!!
Ah, pure glamour!

I love the chest turned sink cabinet! I think it all looks incredibly 'lush'. Now I'm on the lookout for a chest to use in my guest bath :) Thank you for posting this.

Nice bathroom remod. I plan on doing my bathroom in gray and aqua. Where did you get that gorgeous shower curtain?
