Help getting rid of moths

Has anyone a suggestion for a moth trap like there are for flies, etc? Have one or more in the house and they can do major damage to wool and even other natural fibers. Thanks.

Aren't they annoying? We once lived in a house thoroughly infested with them. We vacuumed them up--seriously--and burned the bag. See very few inside our house now but when one sneaks in, the cats delight in the hunt and the 'treat'.

@Marion Nesbitt My cats have taken moth hunting to Olympic levels and I don't know what annoys me more...the cat leaping off the refrigerator in hopes of catching the moth...or the moth! Thankfully, we have had very few.

If you go to your hardware store they will probably carry moth traps. We had a moth infestation from bringing the sunflower seeds for birds into the house...lesson learned, leave in garage where they will freeze. The traps seemed to simple to work, but they did! Good luck!

Cedar closets help, I had mine lined with cedar and keep coats and suits in it.

@Glenda Robinson Thanks for your reply. I have one cedar lined closet upstairs. And a cedar chest. I'm worried about wool rugs, blankets, etc. if one moth becomes many more!
