a vacuum wiith brush doesn't do it? try a damp sponge and if that doesn't work, get a sponge-like thing. It is hard but looks like a sponge (forgot the name of it) It works great - I got mine at a pet store.
Joe ...There are many tools that will remove the hair...pet hair rollers that it sticks to, fur erase, Fur Zoff removal tool...Google and find many more.
There are lint rollers with handles that have a sticky paper on them. You peel off the outer layer of paper and a sticky surface is revealed. This works good for dog hair and for lint on clothing. I would first use a shop vacuum to remove most of the hair.
I'd vacuum with an attachment and then use lint rollers. They also make covers that you can take out and easily wash. I'm not sure how expensive they are though.
