How do I remove two sided tape from window frames?

Every fall I put plastic over my leaky windows. I use the commercial kits available. What can I use to remove the two sided tape from the aluminum frames?

Try rubbing it off with lemon essential oil.
WD40 or GOO GONE
Goo Gone or WD40. Razor blade scraper can help.
Avon skin so soft will remove the adhesive left behind from the tape. Also in paint dept you can get goop off. It works but like sss best.
