We have the same problem here in Maryland especially in the summer with high humidity and poor air circulation. The exhaust fan draws out the moisture in the air when showering, have to towel dry the stall.

Good air circulation and dry conditions prevent mold.

Try reducing the moisture in the air and increasing ventilation. Ensure you run the extractor fan for at least twenty minutes after a shower, have the window open and if possible dry the towels outside rather than hanging in the bathroom to reduce the moisture in the air.

Don't use fabric softener in bath linens. Switch out linens every three days. Usee 100 percent cotton or all linen towels.

Squeegee walls and ceiling after showers. Insure exhaust fan runs during showers and for at least 20-30 min. afterward.

Purchase fabric shower curtain and liner, rather than plastic types.

bleach will clean it but hydrogen peroxide prevents it. always squeegee down walls and shower doors after showering so water/moisture is removed. after cleaning the tile areas in tub and walls are dry spray furniture polish on tile to repel water build up
