  • Petunias always work well for me but they are annuals. If you want perennials try roses or brown eyed susans

    well really need to know where you live your climate/growing season-how cold or not?All day-full sun or semi or shady? pots or inground?. Early Tulips,Crocus,Hyacyinth,Daffodils,Reg.       Thank you for ideas. I live on central coast of CA. The spot is sunny most all day year, round and planting in pots for now.

    I'd check out your neighbor's yards and see what grows well for them. it is likely to grow well for you, too!
