Hi Debbie, so much depends on the size and how much room you have elsewhere in or around your home. Paint can do wonders for making the center look different. I repurposed my old entertainment center into a china/glassware organizational unit by added some stemware slides and then used the closed areas for tablecloths, napkins, etc. I painted it the same color as my walls so it just blended in but I might redo it and jazz it up to be the focal point instead. There are so many ways.. My favorites have been turning them into children's play kitchens or tool audiences .
