Worms are so important to have in the soil they aereate soil and their poop is best compost ever. put a plastic lid with beer in it to attract the snails they fall in & drown safest/best method is hand removal, you can also add diatomaceous earth around your plants in circles. Other natural bug control is live Lady bugs,Praying Mantis egg cases,Nematodes in the soil,Green Lacewing

There are snail deterrents pellets that can be sprinkled around your garden. There is also 7 Dust that can be dusted around your garden. I just don’t know of a natural remedy except for salt.

    Hi Chris,

What you do is sprinkle Epsom salt lightly around your plants, being careful to not get it on your plants. This dissolves the snails as they crawl across it. The ES is also a valuable nutrient for the plants, made of Magnesium sulfate.
