How to whiten pillows?

I have found that Biz works great for old stained linens. You soak your linens in a mixture of biz and water. It has worked really well for me

20 mule team borax- soak for a little while. Also bluing - but you MUST mix it up in a bucket first. If you just pour it in, it will stain. Only a few drops to a bucket of water.

Spritz with lemon juice or peroxide and let them dry in the sun. Not much else you can do. Down doesn't do well once in the washer. Weird since it's duck feathers. Always use actual pillow covers under your pillowcases so all you ever have to do is remove those and wash them.

I wash mine in a cold wash with liquid detergent (I turn off the machine after it's full so pillows absorb water then I restart it to continue the cycle). Once done, I air dry them outside in the sun by placing them on lawn chairs that have open grid-type seats for airflow. This helps with faster drying time turning them over multiple times helps too, then put in the dryer to fluff feathers. It's not a quick process,
