How do I camouflage water damaged laminate flooring?
The edges have swelled and are curling. I do not have replacement piece. Could I sand the edges down and paint it or stain them?

You can use the furniture markers. Laminate floors are basically plastic, so not an easy fix that looks great.
Have you tried using Old English furniture polish? I use it on my furniture, cabinets and flooring. It hides scratches and protects the wood from drying out. It works as well for laminate. If the gouges are deep, there are wax crayons for furniture to fill them in then cover with the Old ENglish. It comes in dark or light and can be found where they sell furniture polish.
