I think have a daily cleaning plan, where you clean 15-30 mins per day working your way around your home could really work. Simple steps make such a difference, such as wiping round your sink and cooker as well as work tops when you have finished cooking. In the kitchen, clean up as you cook. My husband does this, but I never got in the habit. Put things back. Have a divided hamper for your dirty clothes. Fold when it comes out of dryer and put away. In waste cans, not garbage, put in plastic bags from groceries. Put two or three in can at a time. Replace when needed. Everyone pick up after themselves everyday. Use a swiffer or microfiber duster. Every so often give a good polish. Do not let washing pile up. My daughter-in-law did with three kids. Took forever to do laundry when clean clothes ran low. Put shoes and coats etc. away after use. Get a battery operated sweeper to use everyday where needed. Sweep well once a week. Letting everything go overwhelms. Get a friend and get togther and help each other. Make a chart. Figure out what needs to.be done everyday, etc. If kids, make a chart for their chores. No tv or games till done. Do not overwhelm. .My daughter-in-law did this, but she had her kids doing everything while she goofed off. Bad idea. I hope these ideas help.

That is quite a schedule! I would be challenged by it although it is a good one.
My friend goes about it by cleaning 1 room everyday, that works for her and her spotless house.
Dirt doesn't show as much as clutter. Keep it neat and tidy. Don't let repairs pile up.
