Hi Jane. I perused the internet and looked at a lot of scroll saw patterns. But I really like a scroll saw artist by the name of Sue Mey. She has a web site at "Scroll Saw Artist.com" You can see some of her work there too. Some of her patterns cost money, but she also has free patterns. I like that because as a beginner, you get the chance to see if you really like this kind of art with no cost to you. Good luck Jane, I hope this helps you.
Any pattern can be put on plywood. Just trace it on.
Do you have Pinterest? Tons of ideas there. :) Lots of free printable patterns, too.
