Plant some tall white cosmos or similar flower that easily moves in the wind. Birds tend to be fearful of white items fluttering in a breeze.

You could also try flash tape or long strips of aluminum foil. When light strikes these items, it tends to startle the birds.

We use toy snakes on windows or window sills. As another person posted, owls are also helpful. We use the same to keep birds from crashing into windows.
