How to use existing rails when replacing the floor on a deck ?

We are replacing our flooring with the recycled planks. What paint should I use to make the rails match the floor until
we replace the rails?

Behr makes an excellent opaque deck stain, in any color you want.
It is better than a paint as it permeates the wood and is available in semi/opaque as well.
floor and porch enamel. Will not last as long a deck stain but works.
Remove them totaly then reenstall them
When we redid our Decks we removed all of the planking then we then powerwash it all first. After that my husband reinstalled between the new planks starting at the home so that a new one was by the house in front and an old one by the house in back do not understand that but then he put the Deck Stain on it all used a little darker one than we had before turned out great.
