How to make fixed shelves into adjustable ones?

I have fixed shelves in the kitchen cabinets. They don't fit my needs. Some are too short for my appliances. Others are too tall for my dishes. Would like adjustable shelves.

the problem is removal. Once you get the shelves out then you can drill holes in the sides of the cabinet to push pegs in which will support shelves.

these rails can be added/screwed in for adjustable shelving https://www.amazon.com/White-Shelf-Standard-72-length/dp/B001DT4RQK/ref=asc_df_B001DT4RQK/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241941596583&hvpos=1o14&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8249878350467785786&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030100&hvtargid=pla-439336451219&psc=1 can you get the shelves out ?? you'll have to cut them out ? are they solid wood or MDF/pressboard? coated?laminate? you may need to cut them out then get replacement pieces of wood depending if they are messed up after cutting, even if they are shorter/not as wide as cabinet after cutting out you can buy longer shelf supports(pieces that go in rails to hold shelves) you'll have to sand edges and restain/paint as well as the walls inside of cabinets. Mght be easier to move your appliances to the "too tall for dishes" cabinet & the dishes to the "too short for appliances" cabinet. :)

solid wood will be easier to remove you could probably just cut them out carefully along sides getting in cabinet close to side might be tough, sawzall/reciprocating saw would work best but doesn't make the cleanest/finest cut just take your time then use sander to clean edges of shelving and sidewalls of cupboards, install rails and add supports then put your shelves back in.how many are there? maybe just do the ones that you need to work better and leave some.I think once you get started removing stuff covering up with tarps then cut them out then sand restain/paint put in rails etc.. worst part is dust from sawing and sanding. make sure you cover vents, returns, and doorways with good tape and plastic protect fridge fan from it too just get decent tools makes jobs you are doing easier like vacuum adapter for sander to collect sawdust
