    Susie: put them together with hinges and use as a partial room divider

    A headboard could be beautiful! A room divider or an outdoor privacy screen too. :)

    Years ago I built a gun safe for my husband out of old long shutters that came off our church that was being renovated. Sorry, I don't even have a picture of it!

    I've seen them used on either side of an interior doorway like a doorway into an office or family room from the kitchen. It looks very cool painted in an accent color of choice!
