Pull it out as soon as you see it. It took my neighbor a few weeks of pulling every 2 or 3 days.

You can control dollar weed with chemicals like Scotts. They make two types of of fertilizers that kill dollar weed or you can buy the spray on stuff like Speed-Zone.

Please don't use round up or some other chemical because they are horrible for the environment. Pull weeds out by hand. You can also try to remove the mulch lay a heavy layer of newspaper or use cardboard around your plants, then put the mulch back

I love the look of it as a ground cover and encourage it. Even transplant it to areas where I need it. I guess one man's trash really is another man's treasure!

Really your best bet is to pull them out. They should come out in a long strand if you are getting the roots out. Once you get those white roots out, just re-mulch that area. If you have a lot of it it could take awhile, but you can get rid of it without resorting to toxic chemicals.

I agree to pull it out. Yes, they have very long white roots and if you don't pull too aggressively you can follow the roots to get the entire part out. Once it's under control you won't have to keep working so hard at it.

Also, you can pour either vinegar, salt or mixed together along the outside of your brick border to kill all the grass & weeds on that side of the bricks. This will also help keep them from growing into the bed.
