After 30 years, what is the best way to redo my master bedroom?
I have gray walls - white ceiling - do I replace the gray carpet with laminate or another carpet.

luxury vinyl after 30 yrs assuming same situation I’m in if looking to stay in home need something soft on feet and easy to walk on we did pergo vinyl planks look like wood the rest of my house is hard wood and tile but favorite is pergo laminate dogs slide along floor kids game room and our master is still perfect no scratches unlike newly done hardwoods do yours in a light gray and if to much gray go all white on walls

You have many options. As Gray walls match any color, I would use that benefit as a means to integrate New Colors in the room. Carpet has a greater variety of colors than laminate floorings.
