How to install copper countertops?

We are first going to patina the copper to obtain what they call an "antique" finish. Then install. Both have extensive DIY experience( house flippers) but neither has dealt with copper countertops....any tips or words of wisdom? We'll b working with 32 gauge and plan a lacquer top coat. Thanks
