How to grow from seeds?

Looks like a type of aloe or agave....just a guess

Agave bloom from the center and Aloe have spikes along leaf edges(especially depending on maturity of plant). Just one of the 1000s of succulents. Collect seeds---put a heavy dish/box with rock in it that cannot get tipped under flowers to catch seeds when they fall from pods check it daily for ones that have fallen so you can collect them & so they don't get/stay wet;once you know for sure the flowers have made seed pods & pods have seeds you can wrap lightweight mesh bag/pouch around it to catch them too( cannot do it too early because it needs pollinated to make seeds). Mix 1/2peat & 1/2 horticulture sand to germinate seeds,moisten soil, put seeds on top and lightly cover with some of the horticulture sand. place in warm dry sunny area. moisten with spray bottle when dry. Its best to germinate/start the seeds in a long flat tray/container, this will keep them from getting to moist,good aeriation and getting nice warmth from sun. The bigger the seeds the more spacing between.Watch for germination. Most cacti and succulents will germinate within three weeks but some species require more time — up to a year or more. When seedling plants appear watch soil moisture. Don’t allow soil to dry out but also don’t saturate it.Most cacti and succulents will be ready to transplant in 6 months to a year after germination. The right growth size for transplanting will depend on the species you are growing. Most cacti can be transplanted when they are the size of a large marble. Many other succulents may be transplanted when they are 2 to 4 inches tall. Gently lift the plants from the growing medium, set into the soil of the new container, firm the soil around the roots and water well.
