A lot of people have success by rubbing the spot with mayonnaise, but here's an article with several other ideas. One of them will work. I've used a damp rag and an iron to remove them on a very old wood table. Once the spots were gone, I oiled the entire table and let it sit overnight before polishing it. Wishing you the best.
Thanks, I will give it a try.
This is a method I've used in the past: https://www.unexpectedelegance.com/quick-table-restoration/
Hi Betty: I've used mayo on steam spots, like from pizza boxes (darn kids!) or coffee cups (darn hubby) or tea cups (darn, was that me???). Just put a dab on the spot, let it sit for about 10 seconds and then rub off. You may have to do it a couple of times, but it works for me. Good luck
Have you tried the iron method? https://www.todayshomeowner.com/video/how-to-remove-white-water-marks-on-furniture/
