How should I fix up my porch?

I want to know which is better painting or staining a front little deck? I have gray siding on the house and would like to compliment that. I am kind of leaning twoard paint any ideas

staining should last longer, but a clear sealant is also an option. go to your local big box diy store and compare costs of materials, the stain, the clear water sealant, the paint. use what's in your budget.
