Safe? least toxic ways --Vinegar,baking soda, lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide kills the mold but also can affect the soil/plants around area(protect plants with tarps and dilute the soil with water before and after ---------tea tree oil toxic to pets----- diluted bleach? To remove mold and mildew from your house: Mix up a solution of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water and spray in a pump up sprayer. Allow to remain on for 10-20 minutes, then rinse using a garden hose.Krud Kutter says it's safe but does not list all ingredients on Prop 65 list.Armor Wash says nontoxic on hazardous list. Simple Green-- Material Data Safety Sheet for Simple Green suggests that any unused or used liquid may be considered hazardous in your area and suggests checking with local, regional, or national regulations for appropriate methods of disposal. Removal of over hanging trees & shrubs to get more sun & air circulation to areas on/around house will help keep mold away. Reduce watering/moisture around house.(I know lots of rain/snow this year)better drainage

I love Krud Kutter, but for siding we use Joe Max. One container did our whole house. You add bleach and water to it. You spray it on and leave for a bit. You can rinse off with a power washer or a garden hose on strong spray. It did not harm the shrubs or the flowers. It did make our almost 20 year old house look new.
