How do you cut trim so it comes out at an odd angle?

I want to put wainscoting on my entry walls and would like to put some decorative trim above it. But the walls are not 90 degree angles it is more like a 135 degree angle or so. I would like to attempt myself vs. having a professional or a handyman do it. Any advice would be great !

A compound mitre saw might be a good investment. I can't imagine trying to put up trim without one. Purchase some cheap wood and practice making the angles on a short pieces until you get it to fit. Caulk or putty if there is a slight gap, which there most likely will be due to settling. Here's a saw that might work for you that isn't very expensive. Get an adjustable angle tool to match up your angle.
I used a dremel to cut my weird angles.
Buy a digital angle meter/gauge such as the one below that is only $20. Gauge the wall with it to get your angle. Divide your reading by 2. Cut the angle to whatever the number is. Example: your wall is 92 degrees. Divide that by 2 and you get 46 degrees. Cut the angle on each piece to 46 degrees.
