Moles don't like the smell or taste of castor oil, so they'll stay away from any areas where they find it. To use it as a mole repellent, you can add some to a spray bottle with water and spray it along the perimeter of your house as well as directly on their tunnels and mounds.

The mole poison pellets work very well: open up one of their tunnels and drop them in. Put a flat thin flat rock over the hole, so there’s no light filtering in.

  • The most effective way will be to kill them with a trap.

I buy those little colorful windmills from the Dollar Store, put them out and about in my yard and it keeps the moles away. Leave them out year round and the moles won’t return.

Because our new house was on the edge of opened fields we had a lot of moles. We used my dad's tried and true method , dog poop! Moles are very territorial so if you drop your dog's droppings in any holes you see they will close them up and move on to another yard. It's been 19 years and haven't had a problem since! Don't have a dog ask a neighbor borrow some. Of course you may get a strange look but worth it!
