How do I fix my yard?
Our side yard is on a slight slope, and we are losing soil to the point that the tree roots are now showing in a few areas. How do i stop the erosion and grow grass in my side yard again?

Add a small retaining wall. You could make a planter at the top. Scroll thru these pics and choose the one that is the most appropriate for you:

Get some top soil either at a dirt yard or at Lowes or HD and spread it in the yard.
here are proper ways to plant the trees on slope you may need to regrade around the trees to protect/secure them and then adding landscape fabric over soil, straw and grass seeds to hold it all in place until the seed takes hold and is tall/thick enuf to maintain itself and slope. do you mow the area,do not cut the grass too low as it burns and cannot maintain itself and surrounding soil. While grass is growing it needs gently watered everyday even 2x lightly instead of deeper watering that would cause run any soil off or seed getting displaced. https://www.todayshomeowner.com/how-to-plant-trees-and-shrubs-on-a-slope-or-hillside/
