How do I cover this to make it look better in my family room?
This is the battery supply pack for our solar panels. We can’t close it off completely Incase we need to get to them. It’s in my family room and just looks terrible !

Free standing screens, the kind people get dressed behind. You can purchase or build out of old doors. If there is glass, frost with a static privacy film.
I agree. Maybe a three sided panel painted same color as the wall. Some photos on it. Maybe a shelving unit to cover it.
Are the wall things and is the cabinet included in your solar battery? I would get a folding screen after you clean off the cabinet. If cabinet is not part of the battery supply, move it and still use a screen. Is there any way you could build a box with door like a shallow closet to cover it?
Would a pantry cabinet with part of the back cut out for the things you would need to access. That will give you some storage, too. I would paint the wires to match the wall. You'll still be able to see then, but they won't be as noticeable.

What about a pretty entertainment center with doors? Remove the back and push against the wall. Yard sales are coming up and I am sure they will be showing up. You can even make some chalk paint and paint it too your liking.
Look for one with drawers for extra storage
Wow. First, it looks like it is immediately next to an outdoor entrance so screening may be hard. If that storage cabinet is not necessary, move it. Then attach wood frame to wall to surround the entire area and simply build OUT from the wall to enclose or add bifold doors for access.
Hi!
That looks like a lot of eye sore to deal with!
Here is what one woman did to cover up her electrical eye sore: https://www.grandmashousediy.com/barn-door-closet/. I hope this helps.
If you need air flow around your solar panel and batteries (check with the installer or maker) you could ventalate a similar closet with louver doors and/or wall vents that are usually used for a heat and airconditioning vents or return air ducts.
Good luck with your cover up!
I dont know the space you got but looking at the picture , uilt a frame around the system, and make it look like a armoir, or if you have sufficient room, again biult a frame around tha space you want to hide and add a murphy bed,,,,i hope its helps, orgive you a idea
I would dress up the main battery box like they used to do for radiators: Frame it out with lightweight pine and use old shutters or punched metal sheeting (like radiator covers), paint it a neutral accent color to wall and then for the cables on wall, do large vertical stripes and include the cables in one color and the box on wall to right in another complimentary color. This all hinges on your style of course and how you like to decorate. Use your imagination but keep it scaled to size of room. Bigger is not always better!
You could drape the whole wall and/or paint everything the same color as the wall.
Build a cupboard around it so you have access but it is out of sight and able to be used for some storage etc.
You could build around it using privacy wood screen.
