Hi Sharon. Make a solution with a quarter-cup of hydrogen peroxide, a half-cup of baking soda and one teaspoon of dish soap. Soak a clean cloth and put it on the stain for five minutes. Then wipe it all up. That should remove the urine stain on top of the surface. Then put a towel on the stain and put your iron, on a low setting, on top of the towel for approx. fifteen minutes. Look under the towel to see if any stain remains. If it does, put the iron back on it for another fifteen minutes. This will draw out any remaining moisture below the surface. You can repeat this process if necessary. Good luck Sharon.

If the stains have oxidized, then you’ll have to do two things.

1.) eat the urine with enzymes. Nature’s Miracle (Petdnart or similar store)

2.) after the urine has been “eaten”, then you may need to use a Wood Bkeach. Do not use chlorine bleach, it will never come out and won’t bieach the dark wood stains.

Nature’s Miracle is a good product - it eats away at the urine. We use it in my house when our puppy has an accident.
