I'm going to make a new bathroom for my permanent house. What are the considerable things before starting?

If you have room for a linen closet, add one.

Think of your lifestyle so you might want a walk in shower. Perhaps a soaker tub.

Easy maintenance surfaces such as tile as much as possible.

Exhaust fan to remove moisture in the air.

Plenty of storage for personal items with drawers deep enough to hold taller items you use like hair & cleaning products.

My top picks for any bathroom reno:

    • Walk-in shower with seat and two water sources - one fixed, and one with flexible hand wand (indispensable for cleaning shower walls)
    • The best quality quietest exhaust fan, on timer switch
    • LED lighting in ceiling, vanity, and in the shower, all on dimmer switches
    • In-wall storage (some examples below)
    • Pull-out trash can, and laundry hamper for dirty towels
    • Automatic, soft close toilet seat lid
