Make sure the grout has cured and dried completely before cleaning it !!!!! Then you should be able to clean normally. I do suggest that you keep a squeegee in or next to the shower and use it on the walls and doors each time you shower !!! It makes a huge difference in water build up , soap scum and mildew/ mold build up. Also make sure to use the exhaust fan when you are showering and afterwards . Also leave the bathroom door open after your shower !!! This allows the room to dry out and helps keep the room mold free . These methods will help keep your bAthroom

    Clean longer !!!

Have you sealed the grout or used stainfree grout? Always seal according to directions before using that area. Seal again after cleaning every year.

Make sure it is sealed and checked annually to see if it need to be sealed again. For mopping I use this:

    1 cup white cleaning vinegar

    1 cup baking soda

    1 Tbsp blue Dawn

    2 gallons hot water

You could also use this solution with a sponge to clean the walls.

Another great product is wet & forget shower for maintaining tile walls in the shower, as long as they aren't marble.
