that was my first thought! LOL! your local farm market or greenery center will carry bags of treatment that is spread on the grass .It kills pests and fertilizes at the same time to make the grass green and healthy.

Milky Spore is not cheap, and usually requires 3 years of successive applications for maximum efficiency, which should last you about 10 years. It is safe to use around pets, and is applied with a drop spreader.
