How to Make Succulent Soap With Melt and Pour Soap

7 Materials
4 Hours

Succulents are popular right now. If you don't have a green thumb, you can still decorate with these adorable succulent soaps. They are easy to make, but they do take a while because the soap has to have time to set up.

You'll need:

1 pound of white melt and pour soap

1 teaspoon of essential oils

dixie cups

Wilton succulent mold

hemp seed oil

The easiest way to add your essential oils is to mix 4 drops of sandalwood, 3 lavender, and 3 vetiver in an empty essential oil bottle.

Cut 4 ounces of melt and pour soap into chunks and microwave for 20-30 seconds. Add 25 drops of essential oils and mica. Start with 1/8 teaspoon of mica and add more as needed. Pour into the succulent mold.

Cut 10 ounces of soap into cubes and melt in 30 second intervals. Add 50 drops of essential oils and gray mica to color. Pour equally into 4 3-ounce disposable cups. You will not fill the cups. Let cool completely.

Cut a thin section of white melt and pour soap. Then cut into chunks to make rocks.

I didn't bother scenting these. You could melt it, add essential oils, and pour and then cut if you want.

Place a layer of soap rocks on top of the gray. Melt white soap and pour over the top. Use the melted soap as a "glue" and set a succulent on top. I used the medium size from the mold.

Let cool completely and remove the cup.

Now you have succulent soaps!
