Brown paper bag opened up, place over wax. Use warm iron not hot the paper bag should absorb the wax. Otherwise you can ice down the wax until it’s brittle and scrape it off.

Before you start scrape up as much of the wax as you can using the Dull side of a table knife.

Using paper sacks and an iron. Open the paper sacks, set it over the wax spill, hold down firmly. Using a hot iron (but not so hot it will burn the carpet or rug) set it on top of the paper and the wax will melt and cling to the paper. Throw away the used paper. Using a clean piece of Paper do it again and again until all the wax is gone.

Some people use thick paper towel altho I have more success with paper sacks.

    Good Luck!
