How do we get rid of moles/voles?
Our gardens, lawn and above ground pool liner have been destroyed by these critters. We’ve been to our local lawn and garden centers, our lawn service employees and a John Deere dealer. All have given advice and we bought items such as: lawn vibrating inserts and poisonous gummy worms, to no avail. We need help!! Thank you!

Kill off their food source (grubs) with a grub killer and they will move on.

I have used the vibrating inserts and they worked. for me...but voles were in a small area in my flower bed. I went to Earl May and they had poisoned grain that you put in the voles tunnels...part of their tunnels are open, but if you put some down in the closed part of the tunnel they will eat it (I guess) and are gone. The poisoned grain looks like it has corn in it and whatever else they like. I would be sure the birds cannot get to it but in the vole holes we had no problem....
Voles are attracted to seeds of many types. Smashing moth balls and stuffing them down their tunnels (use a stick), then push more whole moth balls in the tunnels and place multiple bricks or heavy stones at entry/exit points.
Moles are attracted to grubs and earthworms. If grubs are an issue, apply Grub X this spring to all parts of your lawn, using a drop spreader. If you find grubs in your flower beds, cut them open as you find them. Apply agricultural grade Diatomaceous Earth in flower beds. It will cut open the grubs, killing them.
