Vinegar spray is a great option to remove bumble bees from your yard and garden. Wear protective clothing while spraying this. All you have to do is mix equal parts of water and vinegar, put the mixture in a spray can, and spray it on the nest or the hive at night to avoid the bee stings.

You don’t the bee population has been hit with to many pesticides, and in some areas a protected insect. You may have carpenter bees....check with your county extension office on how to relocate them. Bumblers don’t eat wood.

  • Here's a good video so you can tell the difference. Definitely don't kill them if they're bumble bees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYcn7k7-5Dw

It sounds like carpenter bees who are actually boring holes into the wood. They are very sensitive to smell. You can spray WD-40, but that can get very expensive. We use termite control Hi-Yield 38Plus, mixed to termite ratio, in a garden sprayer. Spray the area well and they will stop drilling in your wood. We do it twice a year and has been very effective for us.
